At Camp Traning

For every camp, there is training that we need to go through.

This training is done the night before the campers arrive. For all of you, this is when the camp starts and we expect you to follow our policies and procedures from that point onwards.

We provide dinner at 5:30 pm and then get into the training afterwards.

We require everyone to attend this training even if you have been a volunteer with us before.

Information that you will receive at the camp training:

• CYC policies and procedures
• CYC Camp forms that need to be done during camp
• Your dorm alert list detailing information that you need to know about the campers you’ll be dealing with
• We’ll train you how to belay if we are doing any of the height-based activities in our Rec Hall
