Tips for Small Groups

Develop small group print-outs with session-relevant questions/activities before camp
and distribute these to leaders after each study session.

• Go around to small groups to check how they are going.
• Touch base with leaders regularly to find out how they are finding small groups.

You can give the following advice to leaders:

• Pray before each small group
• Share your testimony and experiences
• Gain control in the beginning. Start firm and you can relax later.
• Encourage campers – affirm them, value their thoughts/contributions
