Traineeship for 2026!
Applications for our 2026 Traineeship are now open!
If you are someone who loves working in the outdoor sector, enjoys working with young people, and has a passion for Christian outreach, then this is the job for you!
Across 2026 you will be able to get involved with all things El Shaddai, like facilitating activities, serving meals in the kitchen, getting alongside the maintenance and grounds team, and much more. As part of the course, you will be completing a Certificate III in Outdoor Leadership, along with a Pool lifeguard qualification and SA Boat License. Trainees will also be involved with assisting the CYC ministry camps to help spread the gospel and teaching of the bible.
We are seeking active, energetic people who are passionate about growing in their faith, leadership, along with getting their foot in the door in the outdoor recreation industry. At a minimum you are required to be physically able to complete manual tasks and hold at least a P1 license.

Casual Activity Facilitators
We are seeking active, energetic individuals who have a passion for working with youth, and outdoor adventure activities. The job involves facilitating various adventure activities such as Rock Climbing, Lasar Tag and Giant Swing with small groups of kids of all ages.
A Qualification in Outdoor Recreation is favourable but not essential. Training will be provided on the job.
Successful applicants will have a professional attitude, be well-presented and have the ability to lead groups of 10-15 Students. You must be able to work in a team environment.
You must ensure the safety and well-being of participants and staff at all times and have a heart for Christian Camping and Outdoor Recreation.
It is expected that you will have an active involvement in staff devotions and prayer time at morning tea.
All applicants must undergo a Working With Children Check, agree to the Christian Youth Camps of SA Inc. Code of Conduct, and undergo Child Safe Training.

Full-time/Casual – Kitchen Worker
We are seeking individuals who have a passion for cooking. The job involves working with others in small groups to supply our customers with meals, morning teas, and suppers.
A Qualification in food handling is favourable but not essential. Training will be provided on the job.
Successful applicants will have a professional attitude, be well-presented, and have the ability work to work in a team environment.
You must ensure the safety and well-being of yourself, other staff, and our clients at all times.
It is expected that you will have an active involvement in staff devotions and prayer time at morning tea.

We are seeking individuals who can join our team of cleaners. The job involves working with others in small groups to clean our campsite weekly.
No qualification is required and training will be provided on the job.
