El Shaddai is looking for a Coordinator Cook to be a part of our team.  Our Campsite is a preferred destination for many state and private schools and churches.  We also run our own Camps designed to encourage campers to have a relationship with Christ and have a fulfilling Christian life.

The Role:

The Cook Coordinator is a hands-on role in preparing, cooking and serving of breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. They will also be looking after the cleaning and general presentation of the kitchen.  Budgeting; stock control; food safety; WHS; and quality control adds to the well rounded role of this position.

Menus are based on time honoured camp meals along with the concern of meeting any special dietary needs of campers.

The Open Kitchen layout means you will be on show and relating to Campers.

You will need to:
Be a committed Christian involved in a Church.
Be experienced with cooking for medium to large groups.
Be available for a Monday to Friday Roster, with some weekends.
Have a strong work ethic and self motivated.
Be able to work with other kitchen staff.
Have valid Police Checks.

This position is based on the Hospitality Award [2010].  This permanent full time position is a 38 hour week.  There is a morning and afternoon shift shared with another cook. Experience and familiarity with commercial kitchens and equipment is desirable.

Casual Activity Staff

Wellington SA

Positions may be available throughout the year.

We hire seasonal activity staff to run campsite activities.
While we administer in-house training, prior experience and Outdoor Recreation qualifications are desired for applicants.

Primary duties would include: assistant belaying Climbing activities, assisting in Flat Water Canoeing. With in-house training running activities such as: Archery, Giant Swing, Initiatives and many more.

El Shaddai is located 100kms from Adelaide on the river Murray. It is a developed campsite of 130 beds with a staff of 15 including full time, part time and trainee roles. Details on the site and associated ministries are available at
